OUR MISSION STATEMENT

["FRAN GIVES"] is a 501c3 non-profit, steadfast in its goal to grow reading proficiency and digital skills in tribal schools. We will deliver e-readers and e-books loaded with incentive-based reading programs to every native student.

 

["FRAN GIVES"] is supported by Worldreader's use of GSM (global system for mobile communication) to download current e-book titles (ages 4 - 11) to Amazon Kindle or Kobo Nia e-readers.

OUR VISION

["FRAN GIVES"] aims to be a resource, a helping hand, a boost up to every tribal school in need. Fran saw the blight and neglect of the Menominee lands and schools as a child which fostered a strong empathy later as a successful lawmaker.

["FRAN GIVES"] maintains the value of empathy in its charter along with respect, integrity and responsibility. The team works with these values every day to enrich native students' lives and fill any underserved gap in the educational system.
